Immersive Installation
Empreintes
In a 180 degree virtual reality experience, discover the work “Empreintes,” which will transport you to the shores of the Saint Lawrence River and into the universe of the woodland caribou, through an adaptation of the Beings of Wood choreographic work.
Beings of Wood is an homage to the strength, power, and beauty of the iconic mammal of the woods, now on the brink of extinction: the caribou. Beings of Wood is the fragile strength of our forests, nature, and freedom to act.
“From the first few moments of the installation, I felt completely immersed in nature with the performers. Beyond being connected to nature and the music, I had an intimate experience as I had the impression that the performers were only dancing for me, which never happens in a show for the public. It is a very touching, and poetic work.”
